Founder of the Ponta Lopud Creative Platform, Tilda Grossel Bogdanović, reaches the finals of the prestigious Woman.Comm of the Year 2025 Award

Dedicated for years to the development of creative and cultural industries, Tilda Grossel Bogdanović, founder of the Ponta Lopud Creative Platform, has been named a finalist for the prestigious Woman.Comm of the Year 2025 Award in the Agency Star category. This nomination recognizes her long-standing commitment and vision in building a creative community through a platform that has, for many years, brought together artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers, positioning the island of Lopud as an important regional and international creative center through the synergy of diverse artistic disciplines.

“I feel honored to stand among this year’s finalists, and I’m especially happy that our work on Lopud has been recognized not only as business, but as a purpose that connects people, fosters creativity, and nurtures togetherness. I hope our story will inspire others to believe in the power of art and collective action, and that we will continue to build a more open and creative society together,” said Grossel Bogdanović.

Grossel Bogdanović has worked in the communications and creative industry for over twenty years. She gained her experience through years of work at the agency “Dubrovnik Partner,” where she contributed to shaping Dubrovnik’s recognizable cultural and tourism image. Her contribution to the creative and communications industry is evident on several levels: through the development of the regional industry by implementing innovative international tools in a local context, through her strong leadership and clear project vision, and through her long-term impact in establishing Lopud as a place where art and space coexist in synergy. There, artists, business leaders, and cultural professionals exchange knowledge, share experiences, and collaboratively create new projects.

She transformed her extensive experience into a new dimension by founding the Ponta Lopud Creative Platform, which each year brings together three significant festivals that position the island of Lopud as an important regional and international creative hub. The Ponta Lopud Film Festival, Ponta Lopud Jazz Festival, and Ponta Lopud Book Bridge are not just events, but part of a broader vision of community development, destination branding, and cultural promotion.

Her work is defined by vision and dedication that go beyond the festivals themselves. Through the Ponta Lopud Club and its various festival programs, the platform builds a model that integrates cultural promotion, destination branding, and community development—becoming a powerful driver of positive change on Lopud. Her creative vision and engagement foster connections among artists from different fields, encourage knowledge and idea exchange, and create a space where creativity flows freely, enriching both the local community and a broader audience.

The Woman.Comm Conference, held since 2022, celebrates and promotes women in the communications industry while providing a space for networking, knowledge exchange, and inspiration. Through lectures, panels, and workshops, the conference sparks discussions on key topics such as female leadership, mental health, crisis communication, and the impact of technology—creating a safe space for the growth and empowerment of women in the industry.

The award ceremony will take place on October 14 at Sarajevo’s City Hall, celebrating the achievements and contributions of finalists like Grossel Bogdanović, who are shaping the future of communications in the region.
