PETER SPEARS is an Oscar-winning producer of NOMADLAND. The film also brought an Oscar to Chloé Zhao for directing and to Frances McDormand for an actress in a leading role. In addition to these awards, the film also won Golden Globe, Golden Lion in Venice, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA, PGA and Independent Spirit Award for Best Picture. Spears also produced Luca Guadagnino’s film CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, based on a book by André Aciman, for which he was also nominated for an Academy Award in 2017. The screenplay was written by James Ivory, who won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Reuniting yet again with Luca Guadagnino and actor Timothée Chalamet, he recently produced the film BONES AND ALL, which will premiere this year. He is currently working on the production of DRIFT film directed by Anthony Chen, with Cynthia Erivo in the lead role. The film is a European co-production shot this spring in the United Kingdom and Greece.
