Dubravka Turić

Dubravka Turić is a director, screenwriter and editor. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts at Zagreb University, Croatia. “Belladonna”, her first short film, won the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at the Venice Film Festival in 2015. The film was also in the official selection at Sundance, Rotterdam and many other film festivals. Her second short, “Cherries”, premiered at Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes in 2017, after which it toured festivals across the globe. “Tina”, her third short, is still in festival distribution after the regional premiere at the 2019 Sarajevo Film Festival. Dubravka is currently working on her first feature, “Traces”, which is now in postproduction. “Rhino”, her second feature, is still in an incipient stage. Its script has been developed within Torino Film Lab. She has also edited more than thirty feature, animated and experimental films, and worked as a screenwriter on many other projects.
