Year and country of birth: 1988, Serbia

Marko Đorđević graduated from the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, the Department of Film and Television Directing. While still a student, he made several films, the most successful of which was “Na drugoj obali“. In November 2019, as part of the Author Film Festival, his debut “My Morning Laughter” was shown. It earned him the “Aleksandar Saša Petrović” Grand Prix for best film of the Festival. This film had its international premiere at the 49th International Film Festival in Rotterdam, after which it was shown across many festivals, both nationally and internationally. It won many awards, including the one for best feature at the Molodist Festival, the Golden Propeller and the FIPRESCI award at the Motovun Film Festival, to name but a few. He is currently working on his next film under the working title “Za danas toliko“.
