Rozafa Celaj

Rozafa Celaj is a 25-year-old actress and director. She completed seven years of music school, where she learned the violin, piano, guitar and singing. She later graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Prishtina University, Department of Television and Film Directing. She was a lead actress in Fence, the winner of “Best Short Film Under 15 Minutes” at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in 2018. Rozafa starred in the feature film “Aga’s House”, which premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2019. She played a supporting role in “Looking for Venera”, a feature film that premiered at the “International Film Festival Rotterdam” in 2021, and appeared in “Zana”, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She was awarded best actress for her lead in “Aga’s House” at Tetova International Film Festival ODA in 2019, Bosphorus Film Festival, Cottbus Film Festival and Aswan International Women Film Festival. Rozafa played in a full season of the HBO Nordic and Paradox major production of “Wilderness”, a series directed by Dagur Kári, which premiered in 2021.
