Ponta Lopud is...

“Ponta Lopud“ is a creative hub where film professionals will have an opportunity to gain new experiences and create long-lasting professional relationships and friendships. In an inspiring and serene environment of a unique beauty of the island of Lopud, accompanied by local cuisine, they will have a chance to talk about film, visual art and the art of living, which
has been practised here for centuries.

The first guest – Master of the Festival – will be Pawel Pawlikowski, one of the most important film makers of today and the winner of a number of awards for his films, most notably the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film, „Ida“(2013.).

During the five-day event, Pawlikowski will share his extensive creative experience in three masterclasses, where he will talk with participants, film directors and actors about his work on the film preparation and realization. The participants will be encouraged to present their ideas and projects and discuss them with Pawlikowski and other participants in a friendly environment.
